Drex Simulator – Product Design

About the project

DREX Simulator is a tool created by Banco do Brasil in partnership with the Central Bank and other banks. It was created to test the DREX Platform, a CBDC pilot project using Blockchain and smart contracts technology.

I took the role of the Lead Designer, where I was responsible for planning and conducting Design Thinking meetings and ideation sections, as well as creating the Product Design, mapping user journeys, interactions, creating the wireframes, high fidelity design and prototyping the solution.

The final result was a functional proprietary and internal Web Service, presented in BB Digital Week 2024, a big tech event of the Bank, attended by more than 30.000 people.
